Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell - Great read giving a new take on data driven

Malcolm Gladwell author of The Tipping Point, Blink, and Outliers is a writer for the New York Post.  Gladwell is a master of exploring mathematical anomalies and creating interesting understandable stories with recognizable people.  Gladwell is an obviously great writer as his numerous bestsellers attest.  However, his true gift in my opinion lies in data analysis which I believe is the root of all his works.  Gladwell has spent serious time exploring data details that provide the big picture of the economy, change, and success.

The Outliers is a wake up call to the I Want It Now generation.  Gladwell documents the many success stories from around the world including Steve Jobs and Bill Gates to name a few.  It provides confirmation that hard work is the basis for all success but, luck is a factor.
